منذ ما يقرب من السنة اعلنت جوجل عن وصول مشروع جديد لها لمرحلة الاختبار العملي وهو ما يعني توفيره للجمهور مع التنويه االي انه مشروع في طور الاختبار.
هذا المرة كان المشروع جزء من ادوات جوجل اللغوية
و هي مجموعة ادوات تستخدم لترجمة بعض الجمل او الفقرات او تستخدم لترجمة صفحة ويب كاملة من عدة لغات لعدة لغات اخري.
بدا الموضوع بالانجليزية و الاسبانية نظرا لانهما اكثر لغتين انتشارا في امريكاو وجود قطاع كبير كبير في امريكا لا يتحدث الا الاسبانية. الان وصل مستوي الترجمة بين الانجليزية و الاسبانية و العكس الي حد مرعب, و قد اختبرت هذا بنفسي. كيف؟ اليكم ما حدث
منذ فترة فتحت ال msn messenger لاجد شخص جديد اضافني وافقت عليه ثم بدات اتحدث معه معد محاولات مضنية فهمت ان هذا الشخص ذا ثقافة اسبانية "لم افهم ما اذا كان اسباني ان امريكي جنوبي ام امريكي" و انه لا يتحدث الانجليزية,و هنا خطر لي موضوع ادوات جوجل اللغوية ففتحت صفحتين احداهما من الانجليزية للاسبانية و الاخري من الاسبانية للانجليزية و بدات محادثة معه اضع ما اريد ان اقوله بالانجليزية في الصفحة الاولي اترجمها للاسبانية و ابعثها له, ثم اخذ ردوده اضعها في الصفحة الثانية لاترجمها للانجليزية و اجريت حوار سهل جدا معاهو طبعا الترجمة فيها اخطاء ده واضح من تركيب الجمل الانجليزية لكنها اخطاء التي من الممكن ان يجريخا احد الذي لا يجيدون الانجليزية و و ما يجعل الجمل مفهومة و مفيدة.
المهم المشروع الذي وصل لمرحلة البيتا هو جزء جديد من ادوات جولج اللغوية

و النتائج اكثر من مبهرة
اليكم بعض العينات:

طيب العكس بقي التحويل من العربي للانجليزي:
"قام رجلين بقطع يد وليد الدسوقي" -< "The two men cut off the hands and Walid al-Dassouqi "
الصراحة انا جالي قشعريرة من دقة الترجمة بالنسبة لكمبيوتر. يعني انظر الي الاهتمام بالتفاصيل و ان الاسماء بتترجم بحيث تكون صحيحة فلو كان هذا خوارزم من المعتادين غالبا hosni كانت تتحول لحوسني و لكن هذا لم يحدث هنا. انظر ايضا للتركيب اللغوي للجمل, و هو يقترب من القدجرات اللغوية لشخص لا يجيد اللغة تماما و هو شيء مبهر في حد ذاته. طبعا الموضوع بعيد عن الكمال, في الانجليزية بالذات هناك مشكلة الكلمات التي لها اكثر من معني. مثلا كلمة code في جملة "i believe in the power of the code" تحولت لكلمة "قانون" فاصبحت "انا اؤمن بقوة القانون" لكن هذه الاخطاء تعد رحمة بالنسبة لمشاريع التي تحاول القيام بشيء مماثل. لا زال هناك ايضا مشكلة الاسماء التي لها معني خاصة في الانجليزية. و ايضا مشكلة عدم الاتفاق علي ترجمة معينة لبعض المصطلحات لكن انظر مثلا الدقة في الاتي: الشيفرة المصدرية اصبحت source code بينما الشيفرة وحدها اصبحت encryption لا والي يغيظك ان كل ده و لسة بيتا!!
ده لو في مشروع وصل مع مايكروسوفت لربع المستوي ده كان طلع من زمان. بس ديه سياسة جوجل حد يتخيل ان gmail الي كل الناس بقي عندها واحد منه لسة بيتا.
المهم انا بعد ده كله قلت بقي الوقت جاء لاختبار حقيقي فحطيت جزء من رواية 1984 لجوروج اوروي في ترجمة احمد خالد توفيق و ترجمتها للانجليزية اضعها هنا بلا تعليق لانه لا توجد كلمة تصف هذا, حتي مذهل! :

طبعا هناك مشكلة بسيطة هي اختصار دكتور احمد لبعض الاجزاء لكي يصبح حجم الكتاب مناسب لكن اعتقد ان النتيجة واضحة.
اه نسيت اقولكم ان ادوات جوجل اللغوية موجودة لما تدخل علي صفحة جوجل باي لغة في بجانب شريط البحث ثلالث وصلات تحت بعض هي الثالثة.
